Dandruff around the ears and the nose / Seborrheic dermatitis

This condition is common in the sebaceous gland-rich regions of the scalp, face, and trunk. The infants around 1 month old or the adults over 40 years old are frequently affected.

The management of the condition include olive oil on the scalp, as well as topical steroid and ketoconazole (Brand name - Nizorale), which is a anti-fungal agent. Oral vitamin B2 and B6 and antihistamine may be used occasionally. We suggest the patients to use hypo-irritant washing foam for the face. The use of shampoo, such as shampoo smooth moist type from Mochida healthcare co., is suggested daily (We do not carry this specific shampoo series).
