Senile lentigo is caused by long term exposure to ultra violet and appears after middle age. This is treated with topical tretinoin (Vit. A derivative) and hydroquinone. If elevated, it is called seborrheic keratosis, and topical tretinoin and hydroquinone are not effective against seborrheic keratosis.
