Scar may be managed surgically when indicated. The areas such as shoulders, sternal area, and lower abdomen are prone to hypertrophic scar or keloid and the surgical management may not be indicated. Topical/patch steroid may be used as well as silicon gel sheet and Chinese medicine called Saireito. We do not offer steroid injection treatment.
