Hypertrophic scar and keloid
Scar may be managed surgically if it is expected to become better. The areas such as shoulders, sternal area, or lower abdomen are prone to hypertrophic scar or keloid and the surgical management is not always suitable. Topical steroid or steroid injection may be used as well as silicon gel sheet and Chinese medicine called Saireito.
We also offer the treatment option of Dermapen4, which is not covered by Japanese Health Insurance. For more information, please click here.
