Certificate of Antigen Test for COVID-19

We offer you nasopharyingeal swab test for SARS-CoV-2 screening using rapid antigen test for 8,800 yen (including tax). The test takes about 15-30 minutes. If you would like to have a negative certificate of the test result, please bring your passport. The fee for the certificate is additional 5,500 yen (including tax). We suggest you to make an appointment for this service.

The sensitivity of the antigen test for COVID-19 is 89% (as is opposed to 98% for PCR test at our laboratory). This means that 89 will turn positive and 11 will turn negative (false negative) among 100 persons infected by new coronavirus when taking the antigen test.
